Default My neighbour Leon the peacock

PowerShot G7, F=7 mm, f/4.0, 1/125 sec, flash fill-in. Hard times to compress it down to the 100k limit (uncropped original: 5 MB !). Comments welcome. Dex

Cool shot. The feathers look like a whole lot of eyes staring at you.

Neat shot ... They are certainly neat birds, aren't they?

For C&C I'd add that on my monitor it appears a bit over saturated in both green and blue.

Thanks for your comments:
FFF: good point; unfortunately, the surrounding is not that romantic, so I cropped into the feathers
Saturation: you're right. I reduced the saturation for a print-out on an HP. My monitor (laptop) is guilty

This is a very good shot... Even with the feather tips excluded...
I really like these colors...

That's just amazing how nature created that creature. Designed to be photographed.

Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player.
