Having import issues in Lightroom...

I recently purchased a 5D and just about the same time started using Lightroom. When importing files from my CF card, I have been getting the message "The file was not imported. The following files were not imported because they could not be read". It then lists the files that didn't get imported. Previously, I used and XT with the Canon software. Since I have a new camera and new software, I'm not sure where my problem lies. Can anyone help explain why this happens and what I could do about it? Thanks in advance. This is one great forum!

No one knows why this happens but it isn't your camera. There is a whole thread I started here if you want to read up on it.

Sorry for bringing it up again. Your thread started about the same time I purchased Lightroom. Glad to know it's not my camera. Hopefully they find a fix for this.
