OK i know there are a lot of threads on this subject but i can not find one that helps me so here goes.
i just started to do digital photography and people have started to ask me to do there pictures. so now i am wondering what is the right thing to charge them. i will not be doing printing. i will just be editing them and putting them on a disk. so i just did a lady it only took me 15 mins of actually picture tacking time. but then i edited them for about a hour or more. i also had to drive a little ways to meat her at her work. so that all being said what do i charge for a sitting fee. thank you for your help. much appreciated! leah p.s. please if you can give me any oppion that would be great i am suppost to bill her today Last edited by LEAHMARIV : 25th of May 2007 (Fri) at 17:27. I charge for the shoot. Depending on the situation, anywhere from $75 - $150 depending on difficulty of locale. Get the check/cash at the end of the session. Treat the prints or CD as a separate thing. Basically CD cost to burn + whatever you charge per file.

As far as what to charge, that's geographically dependent.
