Ooops running late again, theme is Weekend Activities - those activites you "save" for the weekend from chores to recreation.

The rules are the same as usual but just to remind everybody the rules are:

- take photos from sunup friday until sundown sunday
- post photos by monday or when you have time.
- usual forum rules for image posting apply which means max 800 pixels on longest side and max 2 attachments.

Should we extend the shoot to Monday, Memorial Day?

Well, when I can, I like to go for a wander during a weekend - or drive to several places to check out some animals.

This mornings walk took me to the lake where some kids were feeding the birds.

I don't know where this afternoon will take me - so I won't post anything yet. The season is now charging into winter hare - the autumn colours are fading as the leaves drop from the trees - hope to get some nice landscapes today.

Linkzi I think only the U.S. has a three day weekend for Memorial Day since we are international I kept the time frame the same.

Tommy Nice capture of what appears to be Winter and Fall.

Our weekend activity is being postponed a day due to the weather.

I think UK also have a bank holiday on monday. And in Denmark monday is also holiday. Its Whitsun this weekend.

But in any case the timeframes have always been flexible.

This is true, they are more of a guideline than a rule.

So Tommy what is the festival all about? From your shots here and in RRTP looks like the ladies make up most of the parade?

Nice shots, Tommy. What's RRTP? I'd like to visit it and see more of your shots.

Usually try and get out early Sunday Morning and explore a different part of the city before the crowds come around.

The first one was taken at the Southam Building being restored on Bleury Street.
