1/125 sec handheld at 380mm (70-200 2.8 non is with 2x tc)

Awesome shot Rob! I've been wanting to go out and shoot R/C car, Heli, and Planes for a while. Just haven't had the time to do it.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Yeah RC shooting is kinda hard. But still very doable. Yeaj, it's best to sit down while shooting these cars. Or even better, lay down on your front

The main reasons shooting RC is harder in my opinion is:
1. cars are small and speed is very fast
2. RC cars are driven in a "jerky" style many times. Not as smooth as full scale cars.

Some people prefer off-road rc shooting because it is easier to get a sense of motion there (dirt flying around, jumps, etc)

anyhow, here's some of my other radio control panning shots
