Default Rollover

Have some more shots in this series, but didn't want to 'spam' the board! Basically the guy lost it over one corner, and headed across the grass back to turn 1, and thought he could catch it by applying loads of right foot....

Also have some shots with the rest of the rollover, glass exploding out of the windows . ouch$$$$$

such a beautiful car, such a darn shame. great shots, in the last one i'd like to see the whole car framed in the shot however. Also, what lens were you using when you were taking these photos?

I was using the kit 75-300 lens for the action shots - There is about 15 in the, series, basically held the shutter down for most of it!

The last one I agree - from memory I cropped there with the lens because there was a bunch of people there - there are some anyway, but I think there was some reason. with the people maybe I should have gone closer on the damage?

Ahh, pesky people. If only there were a more polite way to say, "get out of my shot." Only kidding of course, in crowded areas i usually find that the more patient i am the better my shots are. If i cant get my shot cropped in a way that all the people around are out of it, i like to back up and get all of the people in my shot so that the amount of people watching emphasizes how interesting the situation is.

The first shot is definitely the winner here, it really captures that "oh shoot" moment when the driver knew he was in for a flip and there was no longer anything he could do about it.
