what can i say?!
in crappy light tonight i shot some of the folks in the garden, the bokeh is lovely it is so sharp, but the main thing is the IS (image stability thing) it is nothing short of amazing, focus and all of a sudden the image stabilizes and the shot comes out clear! this is the sort of magic i dont want to understand i just want to use it! i am so happy i have made this massive purchase and can not wait to get down to the beach to get the shots i bought it for! thanks for the advice on the subject (aimed at me or at others) Tony

Congratulations on a terrific lens! You will have a lot of fun with this one. One bit of advice, the focus is much quicker if you use the distance limiter switch. Enjoy the lens!

Have fun, and do tell if sand gets in there or not.
I've had no dust issues at all -- just curious. |
