I took this a couple months ago actually, tell me what you think.

400d with 80-200mm Tokina shot at f/4.0, iso 100.

Love the coloring in the picture. Makes for an excellent background. I also love shooting kids...just not mine as they have the frozen smile syndrome as soon as my hands touch the zipper on the camera bag. Nice shot.

what a cute shot and cute kid! i love the background too. wish u shot it from a slightly higher angle to cut off the trees and just have 100% tulips!!

oo, and have him hold one of them too (if they let u pick one)

wow, Id like to see a deeper dof with more of the flowers in focus.
More of a flowers with kid shot than a kid with flowers shot.

Thanks for the comments guys, the shot was actually a quick one, I saw the kid jogging through the row and thought it would be a pretty good shot. If I'd had him pose, I woulda tried to change the aperature a little bit to bring in the background flowers (but it would have lost a bit of its candid-ness). It was one of those "swing up the camera and snap" kind of shots.

over all I like it a lot. and like the dof. the child is not very sharp though.

hmm sharpness on the childs face is near perfect on my screen.
