Default Official RRTP-TPBM 2008 Meetup
Earlier today, 06.05.2007, it was suggested to have a joint RRTP/TPBM chat-thread get-together.

This thread will keep track of the planning and execution of that idea.

I am not the creator of the idea, nor am I 100% willing to plan the whole thing - but I am willing to help.


First idea I have is posting "City, State, Country" so that I can make a dot-map of the members to help narrow down the most optimal meeting location based on number of members in a specific region and cost of air-travel. ie, it is cheaper for me to fly to New York than Dallas, TX... funny how that works...

Hmm... this might be tough -- for most people they have their location listed in their profile, but others don't - it is those people I need the details for more than those, like you, with their locations listed.

Some suggested Denver, Colorado as a location - I checked airfare from around the USA and it is all around $200-$275 roundtrip -- NOT BAD!

I checked from Denmark for international travel - $1200 --- a wee bit more

Umm, Tourist trap and checking airfare from PDX, LAX, Washington DC, and NYC to the Springfield-Branson airport, looks like it would cost everyone more...

Chicago isn't THAT much further away and I would rather see that...
