I'm going to be taking some pictures at an indoor horse show this evening. Lighting in the arena isn't bad, but its not great either. I'm planning on using my 50mm f1.8 tonight, as i'm able to move around as much as i want. What would you guys recommend as my biggest apperature i can use without decreasing the DoF too much? I'm thinking 2.8, but would like to get my shutter speed as high as possible...
Thanks in advance! |

Check out this link:
DOFMaster You should be able to figure out what you need to know using the online DOF calculator. Mark
