DTM at Das Brands-Hatchenring, 8th June 07

Made my way to Brands Hatch today for the testing sessions (and qualifying for some other classes racing) of the DTM today.

Started off cool and overcast - so bad that the helicopter was grounded and the organsisers said that the DTM and Euro F3s wouldn't be running on track until the weather brightened up sufficiently for the chopper to be able to fly - essential for a medical emergency. The weather brightened up nicely towards the end of the sessions though, which was nice.

Anyway here are a few shots, I've got a whole load more to crack on through but won't be doing those until Sunday night, am going to B-H again tomorrow too.

Kit is in my sig.

Was playing around with parameters and think that full contrast is a bit much for displaying on the web, have turned it down on the camera body now.

And to finish off this thread...a pan. Relatively high shutter speed of 1/100s this one as these boys are quite fast.

Loving the pic's , enjoyed yesterday the FPA were throwing there cars at the scenery at clearways quite a bit..

im stationed middle of paddock hill bend , bring on today!

PS: sidecar passengers ARE the missing link , they are nuts!

Very pleasant as per usual Mr G. I shall be enjoying watching this from the comfort of my armchair on Sunday afternoon.

If the MK3 ever turns up (touchy subject ATM) i'll probably be back at Brands for the Autoglym HSCC festival at the end of the month.
