Default Quasi Macro...but a rose is a rose...

This is a macro shot of what I think is a rose,(50mm1.8/reversed on to the kit lens)and even tho it's magnified greatly,it still resembles arose.

This needs some depth of field. Too out of focus for me. The hot spot in the upper left is distracting also. If you did this hand held try it with a tripod. Keep working. This can be a great picture.

This one is much better. There is enough subject for my eyes to focus on. You can actually see the texture of the petals. Better lighting on this one too.
