first two are too dark, and lack composition. the flower shot is soft and not very interesting. the city shot (phily?) is also a snap shot, and again lacks interest.
However, I really like your last shot. b/c of close crop, and sense of motion.

I agree with the darkness, I am just now learning how to lighten up the shadows and get rid of that, I need to try that on those. My main problem with my pictures is they are soft, I need to drop the coin and get a sharper lens, for sure. City shop is NYC, World Trade Center site, just thought it was interesting.

I should have known thats NYC. I only lived there for 6 years! yeah, having a nicer lens really helps. maybe even consider getting the 50 1.8 for 70 bucks or so. very sharp, and inexpensive.

You know its crazy you said that, seriously, but I am glad you did, b/c I just ordered the 50 1.8 from Dell. I was looking through the lens polls for a inexspensive, sharper lens and read some greats things about it, so ordered it.
