Default Has anyone washed a tamrac bag?

I just bought a 5618 tamrac shoulder bag on ebay. It is in good condition but dirty and in a dire need of a wash. I'm thinking of chucking it in the washing machine. I've done it with other bags in the past but then just yesterday it was pointed out to me that the foam padding can be damaged from a wash.

It really does need a good clean and it will be fine again.

Dare I?

I dared it. STuck it in the machine on a quick wash. Came out perfect. It's now hanging on the washline outside to dry, but rain is threatening. SO am thinking of heading down to the laundrette and stick it in a dryer for a short while to speed up the drying process.

Might be a good idea to get silica drying pouches inside it after it's dry.
