Ah yes, I shot my first wedding yesterday (June 30th). I had butterflies in my tummy all morning and made myself sick over shooting my first wedding. However, when I got there I started to relax but I just couldn't get my creative juicies flowing that morning. I feel like the pictures turned out rather "average" and I'm hoping the wedding on 7-7-07 will be much better. Too see more pictures check out my blog.
#1 #2 #3 #4 #5 #7 - Groom after the cake smashing. #8 - Groomsmen licking cake off the Groom's face. #9 - Ring Shot.

Nothing " average" about these. I like them !! Great job with the one's you have shown. Other than #8 being OOF ( I am sure the action occurred fast), I enjoyed the series. Would like to see more.

You really need to raise your prices. These are wonderful!!!!!
The only thing I probably would have done differently is make the selective focus in #2 on the flowers instead of the couple. The ring shot is so original. I've not seen anything like it elsewhere. Very, very nice. |

Hey MrsOpie. I really like these. Not too sure if I'm crazy on the PP on 1 3 and 4 though. I personally think they'd look great high-key B&W though. Just a personal preference.

They look great! My wife really likes your work. She visited your website and loves the colors. We also have "our" first wedding shot 07-07-07. We have done about 6 for a family friend in upper South Carolina. Not such great pay, but the experience was worth it's weight in gold. Can't wait to see more of your work!

EEK! I don't want a title anymore!

Great job, especially for your first. It looks as though your focus was a bit off on some of them, or there's some camera shake going on due to slow SS, I didn't check to see if the EXIF was intact. I like the PP on all of them but #5, it's a little on the red side. Looks like you had a fun couple for your first, which is nice. For #2, I would have tried focusing on the bouquet, but that's just me. Love the ring shot! I couldn't get my creative juices flowing at yesterday's wedding, either, so I know how that goes. I was all ready w/ideas after looking at the site online, but the couple was just totally not into it, and they were so far behind in their schedule I only had 10mins for B&G pics, plus the place was super super dark. I feel like they turned out average (mine from yesterday). Sometimes it's just that way, I guess. Anyway, sorry for getting side tracked. Looking forward to seeing more from you!

*claps her hands* I am so proud of you. The cake smashing face and the groomsmen licking the groom made me burst out in absolute laughter for a couple minutes. It was fabulous. you are fabulous and your images reflect how fabulous you are. And, here's one more FABULOUS just for the heck of it!
