i put some on photobucket..the ones i want to know what i did wrong with..if anyone would like to see them..

for the indoor shots, you have to balance the flash output with the ambient light... i noticed that you shot 1/250 shutter on pretty much every single one of the flashed indoors... even if you are using direct flash, if you properly balance the flash and ambient light, it will start to not look like flash was used at all...

Yeah, too much flash, not enough ambient light.
Compensate by turning down the flash power, and increasing the exposure (i.e. wider aperture, longer exposure or higher ISO - or a combination)

The cake shot is pretty but could be better with bounced flash. Detail shots are my favorite, and I learned a few things from this fellow:

yes..the flash issue is hard.. gonna take a lil while to learn that...but should be fun in the process..
