She scared me in #3 and 5, but she looks beautiful in #2. I love 7&8, of course. Would like to see some B&G shots!

I just went back and looked at the thread you posted...she looks like a totally different bride! How interesting the two perspectives are!

I love the mood of #2 and love the Brides expression in #7; she just looks like she is so relaxed, happy, and really enjoying her wedding day.

Checked out the rest on pbase as well... great job!

Very awesome Jamie. I was curious about what you'd do with #6, Post-Process wise.

What did you use to light the tent? The wedding I have this saturday will be a white tent with just white christmas lights. I have 2 580ex. I hope that the infrared sensor will work outside in a tent.

In the two photos you mentioned there aren't really any secrets to share...

For #2 there were a bank of windows to the camera right (set into the same wall that she's leaning against) and that's what lit her. In PS I only upped the contrast a bit to add a bit of drama.

For #5 I deliberately underexposed the scene, then used my on-camera 550ex to light her. Since the bottom of the dress was closer to where I was laying on the ground, I tilted the flash head up to skim the light off her face, and used one of Don's little velcro bounce cards to bounce a bit of light back on her dress. In PS I just pulled the exposure on her skin down a little (since it was a bit too hot).

Tents are among the easiest "rooms" to light. You can use a single on camera flash aimed slightly behind you (bounced off one sloping ceiling of the tent) to great effect. For the shot above, however, I set up 2 sunpak 120J on light stands - one in each corner of the room. I fired them with a radio slave.
