Default where did you get your D SLR from?

I have decided to get a D60 online.

Now the question is where can I trust? I'm look at a few site but all of them are the same to me, so here's where you guys come in! please tell me where you get yours from and how their serives were.

another question: I'm running windows98 now will it work with the D60?

Yes the D60 will work with your Win98 Machine. More importantly sufficient ram and HDD space is required.

Check out the links in my Lens Info Site, you will find plenty of online retailers. Keep in mind, the D60's are backordered quite a bit, it might my beneficial to call around local stores in your area too.

Yes, definitely check around with the smaller camera shops as a lot of the original backordered D60's have been filled and some are receiving cameras that are not spoken for.

I work for a small Pro Shop and we've just received our first D60 that was'nt sold before it arrived. I also had talked to a gentleman from San Diego this morning who tells me that he had just purchased a D60 from a shop in the So. Calif. area.

I guess we have to blame "herd" mentality when I hear about the thousands of people that are waiting patiently or otherwise, for places like Ritz or one of the other large online retailers to ship them a camera.

Anyway, My two cents.
