We had a fun little thunderstorm roll through this evening, figured I'd take some shots. It was rather cloudy, so there there were some pretty cool effects going on.
This was my first try, so no doubt things could be improved upon. I think I need to try for a shorter exposure next time -- Used a 30s exposure for all of them. Even the lightning came out a bit blurry. What do you think? Any general guidelines for lightning I should know? C&C much appreciated. Thanks! 1. ![]() 2. ![]() 3. ![]() Last edited by BCDH : 10th of July 2007 (Tue) at 23:42. |

I think the first one looks the best. The third one is pretty cool with the clouds lighting up. I've always wanted to try this and after just unexpectedly winning a tripod on Ebay, I may get a chance to next time.
