Tamron AF 18-200MM F/3.5-6.3 XR Di-II LD ASPHERICAL (IF) MACRO

So. I dont believe there is a lens thread for this one yet. So as a new member i thought i should contribute in some way. So here are some pictures taken with said lens during spring break in california. And im a high school-er who's new to photography, so go easy on me. If you guys are interested in this lens maybe i shall post more and variations in photo genres. Cheers!

Its a fairly nice lens. Got to love the range.

Nice pics. This is the first lens I ever bought. It is quite capable, but a bit soft on the wide end. But that's to be assumed.

Here's two shots taken at the same spot on the pier. One at 18mm and the other at 200mm. This lens has great reach when you need it.

I know this is an old thread but I'm thinking of selling my 17-40L and my 100 2.8 macro and getting the 18-200. Finances are tight and I think I can pick up a couple hundred bucks in the trade and get, what appears to be, a good do-it-all lens. Your thoughts?

I had the opportunity to borrow a friend's for two weeks or so. It was okay on the wide end, completely unusable to me on the telephoto end. The only shots I saved with this lens were shot at 18mm. I have some good telephoto primes so maybe I am spoiled in that regard. Quite a bit of CA throughout the range.
