Going to the San Juan Islands soon and the weather may be cloudy with very little sun and even have a few showers.
Any tips or creative ideas would be appreciated.

i like shooting the beach when its cloudy. that way I dont get burnt!!
showers are another thing completely! run and hide |

Take a tripod and try some long exposures.......like into the 5-30 sec range see what happens.

|
You don't have to run and hide when it's wet. The beach can be quite atmospheric in a storm.
