Default In days of old when Knights were bold...

Went to a Jousting tournament at Linlithgow Palace. Some mad blokes on horses charging at each other with big sticks. Also had some other mad folk demonstrating hand to hand (or sword to sword) combat.

1. A grand entrance

2. A bit of Jousting

3. Some people look more suited to the era

4. Not sure they know which end of the sword is which

Okay he does as the knight in green is using the hilt of his sword to try and strip his opponents sword out his grasp (well thats what he said).

5. King for a day

6. and finally the victor

Enjoy and any hints in case they make a return visit.

Alan

Darn cool. I'd love to go to one of these things. I'm a bit dubious about that fellow holding his sword backwards, never heard of that before

Holding sword backwards seems a bit dangerous to me.
