Interesting, I bet there's better angle on it though where the background is not so busy. Or alternative you could control the DOF so that only the artifact is in focus?? Looks like it was taken mid-day, maybe early or late would give even better light.

The "artifact" is pasted into the image right? If so, why didn't you use a more interesting background? It doesn't look very successful. If it's not a layered image it still looks like something is seriously messed up with it.

Not exactly sure what it is you're seeing lowcrust. Looks pretty natural to me. It just needed to be taken from another angle, as Kenny points out, so that the background is a little more appealing.

i'll try out the wider opening next time. hope i can get a better lens though. but your actually right. the background is abit distracting and the lighting better at early morning or late afternoon. thanks for the feedback ... really appreciate it!!!

actually ... i asked around and they told me it was a project of one of the students of the fine arts program. sooo ... now i know!
