hi all, just bought a S900 printer. It is pretty sweet. Of course Canon recomends using their "photo paper pro" style of paper to print on for pictures but it is costly. Has anyone experimented with a less expensive paper that works well with this printer without sacrificing quality

I'm not aware of the paper costs, but it might be interesting to check out a paper comparison from Paul Chefurka for the S9000 on dpreview.com

Kodak Ultima is pretty good, Premium is nearly as good and a bit cheaper again... I got a sample pack of Ultima from Kodak a few months back, which is what started me on it... looks like you guys in the states pay through the nose for paper - it's a lot cheaper here in Australia...
