Great shots! Love the colors and great job on the panning. Hope the fellow in the wreck came out OK.

These are really good. Try using an slightly slower shutter next time -- AFTER you have some good ones in the bag! #1 and #2 would be GREAT if there was just a tad more blur in the background. Go for it!

You gotta love these guys! Are they as much fun to shoot as they are to watch? Great Stuff!

Great shots, nice and clean with good focusing. Re the last picture I hadn't a clue that the back wheels would be so wide.

Honestly... No it isn't.. When I've shot them I've found it really hard to watch the race..and follow whats going on... ie whos leading etc.. that may be me... though.. Also at our local track, you can't even see the whole track from the pits...

But... you do get really really close!

Some times it can be tricky to hook up 800+ hp on dirt..

Yea, I feel the same way. I decided instead of shooting the main feature as well I just went up into the tower and watched from there. I personally like how it works out, I get all my pictures during warmups and qualifiers(the lighting is much better then, so i get better pictures anyway), then sit back, relax, and enjoy the main show.
