I bought the sigma lense as a 1st extra lense however I have found my sigma pictures "soft" & I know i wont get much for it if I trade it in ( I only paid $250 Aussie dollars for it) & am thinking of replacing it with the Canon 70-300mm IS USM. Will I notice a huge difference or shall I spend my money on something else?
Any advice greatly appreciated. |

See this comparison I did over 1.5 years ago http://www.pbase.com/lightrules/70300s It shows how good the APO DG can be when properly stabilized or given fast shutter speeds. Is the 70-300 IS better? Yes. But mostly for its IS. |
