Default A570 Lens Flare?

Hi, I've been testing out my new A570 and I've noticed some severe lens flares. Please see the photos here:

http://s180.photobucket.com/albums/x310/nivek-photo/

The strange thing is that none of these shots are straight into the sun (or facing any really bright light source). All of these shots were taken in the shade. I also made sure the lens is free of dust particles.

Notice that these "flares" occur at almost identical spots. Could this be dust on the CCD? But these don't show up on all photos... (see photos)

I'm a bit confused, any insight is greatly appreciated.

Odd, looks like some dirt/dust on the inside of the glass.

Thanks for the reply. I think you are right. I've looked pretty closely at the outside and there's no dust so it must be in the inside or the sensor. The strange thing is that it doesn't show up on all the shots...

I will try a couple more shots and if it persists, then I will try to exchange it for another.
