Wasn't sure where else to post this. I'd like to post some photos for critique, but I don't know how to resize them so that I can post them. Can anyone help me with that?

There is a very easy way I use to get the pics ready to post. Using the cropping tool in photoshop, set the dimensions, width, height, and pixels to 8, 8, 100. This will give you an 800 by 800 pic. If you want to preserve the 2:3 ratio, use a different value like 8, 5.3, 100 and crop your image. It will crop and resize automatically. Save for web and use a quality setting to get you below the 100k limit.

Checked that out...it's a bit complicated for me. I'll keep trying.

If your running XP go HERE and download the windows XP Image Resizer Power Toy. Install it and right click on a picture file in windows explorer and you'll have a resize option. It doesn't get any easier.

PuppyDogMom,
What software did you get with your camera? (what camera?) Answer that and it will be easier to give an exact answer on how to resize a photo to post. |
