Default My oldest daughter

My mom had just done her hair so I did a quickie shoot with her.
C&C welcome!

#3 is the one I like the best as well. I don't' know your daughter, but that seems to be a real personality shot. Sweetness and defiance all rolled together. She has a great look. Good shots.

I like the series a lot, but I'm not sure the softening works with her hair in the first shot. I think with bold colours like that, the hair needs to be sharp and crisp, as I would imagine it's a part of her personality.

Two things I would do is a bit of PP to bring out her eyes (she has nice eyes and could be shown off). I would also like to see some shots of her smiling, as I would bet she has a nice smile, too.

Overall, a very nice job indeed.

Henny.

101 people looked -- 3 left comments. I hesitated a long time and then decided not to make any other comment.

I think number 3 is a good photo and and I kinda like number 1 also.
Maybe I am missing something here but I think all photos are worthy of comments, as comments are a form of help and instruction for the advancement of skills.OH and also incentive for a photographer to better ones self.

Thank you for the feedback!
I'm a little confused about Riverlander not commenting...I would like any suggestion/opinion good or bad.

I agree with the comment about the softening of the hair in the first pic- i like the background in it, though- but maybe pose her a little closer to the guitar? Arm seems a little stretched (IMHO)...

I like the first three, the tone of the first and third one are cool. The second one might be my favorite but it needs some processing, there isn't much contrast and the colors aren't popping nearly enough imo.
