#1 is very nice - great action and interesting composition.

#'s 2 & 3 have lighting problems that could easily be improved upon when re-shooting these portraits.

#2 seems to have 2 catch-lights in each eye, and her nose has a hot spot running the full length from the bridge to the tip of the nose. The primary light seems to be coming almost straight down from above center, leaving a hot spot on the nose and a deep shadow under the chin. Moving the primary light to her left, your right, would have provided more of a Rembrandt lighting for better 3-D effect.

#3 has near balanced lighting from front and from subject's right side. the result is flat lilghting with little assistance in creating the illusion of depth. Also, the eyes appear dead. This is due to a tonal merger between the pupil and iris making the iris and pupil look like one big black blob (probably would not have happened in color shot).

The background on #3 is also no help and only distracts.

Here you go. This will help you immensley with smoothing out that new flash and it will cost you a whopping 48 cents at walmart. Watch the video.
