Default Traditional Mat Style Albums

I went over to a local photography store to check out their Flora mat style wedding albums. I'm not into the mat style albums because I think they look really dated especially the white albums with the gold foil (yuk!). But if I do black leather with black mats and keep it all clean I think I can pull it off. I offer coffee table style albums and I would like to offer something traditional to have more well rounded options. Do any of you use the Flora Elite Albums or any mat style albums? Are they worth offering to clients?

I have a Flora Elite sample album - Black with black matts/pages. Roughly one in 10 prefer the Flora album over the others that I offer...

If you are looking for a more contemporary matted album, I really love the Maxima Ambience line. I ordered the one with the red cover and it is currently my favorite sample album. Albums Inc sells them...

I know Stu uses them..you can ask him..not sure what brand he uses..

I went into a show room and checked them out also, but, I am going to stick with the Asuka book. I have been very pleased with it...

I use a range of matted albums with reportage style mats, allowing for anything from 1 to 6 pic's per page in various combo's and sizes. They come with very modern finishes and are very popular. UK though, so I can't recommend a US version of the product.

I checked out the Maxima Ambience line and I love the modern mats they offer. I signed up to get pricing. Thanks for the info.

90% of my albums are Queensberry matted albums, black leather, with silver foil behind the images outlining them. They look traditional but not dated IMHO. Queensberry aren't cheap though.

Most of my albums are matted Jorgensen Albums.

They look very contempory and they are quite expensive - but couples love them.
