Default Boogie Wonderland

Boogie Wonderland is the production number show currently running on the Majesty of the Seas, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd ship working between Miami and Nassau. The show is wonderful. The pics are a bit noisy due to the low light, and due to no flash allowed.. so I shot them all at iso1600. How did I do? Your thoughts are appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Two samples -- the lines in the second shot are from the grand finale.. they shoot streamers out into the audience!

Default Re: Boogie Wonderland

Looks like you had to stay in your seat the whole show? Makes it tough getting much variation...
Some nice images, some less.
Overall, some are OoF, and most are a bit on the soft side (lacking contrast) and a bit dark IMO.
I like the first one.

Thanks for the suggestions Rene - yes, I had to stay in my seat. As far as the softness goes, I have a lot to learn about performance photography.. it is hard getting the shutter speeds up to where I wanted. Faster glass would be a lot of help I guess.

The exposures need a bit also. I agree completely.
