Default Nikon to buy Canon?

http://press.nikonusa.com/gallery/pr...fiscal%20Year/

Better be a leftover from April Fools. Either that, or Nikon wants to own something that people want.

That's funny.

Actually, Canons Research & Development budget is greater than the entire operating budget of Nikon.

Won't happen.

Because the nearest Canon model is $800 CDN cheaper. (40D).

The D300 fits where the used 1D M.kII goes.

Canon's annual revenues is 10 times that of Nikon. Never will happen. Canon does a lot more than just Cameras (photocopiers, large format printers, printers, video cameras, large copying machines, etc).

If you took out Canon's revenues from the sales of laser printer engines then you could make a better comparison.
