Default The Witch Head Nebula

The Witch Head is a favorite around Halloween and is located in the constellation Orion, near the bright star Rigel.

Takahashi Sky 90 / Losmandy G-11 / Canon 20D / 30 x 180 sec. exposures

Hey - it does look like a witches face/head! Cool!

You night/nebula shots are awesome mate. I can't believe how good they are with a 20D. I'd like to see pics of your rig set up to take these photos.

Thanks Troy. Take a look at my "Mighty Andromeda" post. I posted a shot of the rig there.

Either that, or Jay Leno. Except maybe the nose.

Wow. Saw your rig. Let's just say it blows away my 70-200 f/2.8L IS which I'm proud of

You reckon if I saved up a couple o' hundred bucks I might be able to get something like that?

Thanks Troy, a couple hundred(US) ten times should do it. Of course then you'll need to pick up a mount too. It's a slippery slope but a lot of fun.

That 70-200 IS is a sweet lens, wish I had one.
