Thanks man. Its a Lowepro LC1 (lens case) ... I use it when i just want my camera and a extra lens...pop it off and toss some stuff in there...strap it to my belt. Its normally empty...but i have a few small bits in there now...

ALL my stuff fits nicely into my 6MDH...i dunno why the packed pic isnt showing up though, should be another pic (3 total)

Ohh, and i got this bag so i would have room for a grip ehhee...why not send me your grip for safe keeping =)

I shrunk the pic a tad more to help it loading up...

I was using a small Walmart camera bag but i filled that up very quickly with my gear.

I was going to buy a Tamrac and a buddy told me he had a Canon Backpack he would sell me for like 15 bucks. Its about 40.00 on amazon.
http://www.amazon.com/Canon-Backpack.../dp/B00009R6TA

I haven't taken any pictures of it but i fit ALL my gear.

(Not my pictures)

I still plan on getting a better more secure bag, but this definitely helps for now.

This is what I use primarily.

My main PJ bag is the Tenba Metro II: P59

I usually carry a 1DmkII 16-35L / 24-70L and 70-200L along with a light meter, extra batteries and memory cards and a foldable grey-card. It can hold A LOT more but I choose not to. *note: I've removed all of the padding from the sides, the hard floor pad and the rear PVC support to make it a total soft bag. I prefer it this way.

My other bag that I use for day shooting is a Domke f6. Its very small and can't hold a ton of gear but when I want to travel light, this is my bag.

Usually I have my 5D, 35L and 50 1.4 in there. But i frequently will also carry my 15mm fisheye and/or my 16-35L

Both great bags in their own respects, but I probably use the tenba more as it can hold a lot more.

Maybe you guys could give me some advice. I'm trying to find a relatively small day bag that'll hold a 30D with grip in the LENS DOWN position (with, at minimum, a 24-70L attached, a flash, and maybe another lens (10-22). I'm also going for as little bulk as I can get away with.

Right now I'm leaning toward the Tamrac Pro 5 5605. Do you have any other recommendations? Does anyone have a pic of someone "wearing" a Crumpler 6MDH?

Look at the LowePro Toploading Zoom bags. Check the dimensions of the TLZ-2 against your setup, it looks to be about the right depth, but double check it. They have a couple other models that are taller if you need a little more length to fit the 24-70L attached.

From back to front, left to right

Crumpler Bundle (L); Crumpler Thirsty Al (L); Crumpler John Thursday 70; Quantaray Pouch I found while working at Ritz. I found something similar online though. It's in a link in my Crumpler thread.
