Default First post, first rig shot!!!

Hi everyone!!

I did my first rig shot yesterday night with my friend's protege!!
since it was my first time, once i got back, i tought of all the things i should have done!!
anyway, here's my best:



please tell me what you think and what i could/should have done to get better results!!!

Extend the boom and get more of the car in the frame. Also, try to go with an angle that the car can be recognized. If you didn't tell us it was a protoge I wouldn't have guessed.

I knew it was a protege... the most important thing however you did get, clarity and sharpness...

since my set-up is minimal (tripod + 3 suction cups + tie-rap) i can't get the camera as far as i would like. also, the 18-55 kit llens might not be wide enough to get the whole car.

i have some from the front that might help recognise the car but they're not as sharp as this one.

Good one! It it's not a cream colored car, you might adjust the WB a bit.

I got the Tripod Manfrotto 3021B Pro and im looking to get something like a rig car with it

the car is actualy beige!! I did adjust the WB and try to make it look as close as it realy is. maybe i'm a bit off but it looks ok on my screen!!

Ou as-tu acheter ce cup ?
Est-ce que c'est vraiment solide ?
Et la tige blanche que je vois, c'est avec ça que le tripod est tien avec la cup ?

J'ai appris cette technique que tout réccement et j'ai tellement envie d'essayer ça

Does anyone know where i can find some rig car ?
Is there any big compagny building it ?

les cups viennent de chez boss tools mais ebay peut faire l'affaire!!
la tige blanche c'est une tie-rap qui tient le trépied sur la cup.
pour savoir si c'est solide, quand je prend les photos, je ne lâche jamais la strap au cas où une cup ne tienne pas le coup.

dans quel coin es-tu??

Hmm but isn't shaking the camera with does tie-rap ?

J'ai trop peur de "bricoler" quelque chose pi que la caméra tombe lol...
C'est pour ça que je regarde quelque chose qui est un peu "certifié"

btw ur using the Rebel XTi, 30D ?

Actualy im looking for this, not much expensive compar to a big rig...
