Last weekend this rather amazing performance became the feature of a nostalgia-type drag race called the H.A.M.B. Drags. The car is an accurate reproduction of a particular 1960's dragster. The car pulled a giant wheel stand with the tires smoking, then did a full 360 degree spin without touching a guardrail, timing light or cone. I've never seen anything like it.
Pardon me for just putting a link to forum of the race organizer where I have posted my pictures, but I am too technologically challenged to do it properly here. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/s...5589&showall=1 Warning: There is some potentially offensive language used in the other forum.
