Actually, there's 4 or more. :)

I just haven't visited the Columbus or the Cincinnatti zoos. I was at the Cleveland zoo several years ago, but not for photography.

I wasn't all that impressed with Cincinnati Zoo to be honest. Haven't been to Columbus as yet, but most folks reckon its better.

I've heard that the Columbus Zoo is pretty nice.......isn't Jack Hanna affiliated with it in some way??

Come visit the Cleveland Zoo, i think it's prett good......but then again, i've never been to another ;)

EDIT: i was curious so i looked it up, Jack Hanna is the Director Emeritus of the Columbus Zoo......whatever the heck that is.

Wow, i just realized that that had absolutely nothing to do with this thread.......lol sorry

Just got back from Columbus; the zoo's nice, but strikes me as better for seeing than for shooting on a lot of exhibits . . . lots of buffer zones so you're not right up against the fences, which makes them less evident to the eye but more problem to the camera.

Hey Jon.......that was our experience also. It is a very nice "park" but so many of the animals are almost obscured by fencing, netting and excessive foliage.

Meeting some Chicago POTN members at the Brookfield Zoo this weekend. Lets see how that one stacks up. So far, our Detroit facility is right up there.
