Happy families...sons of former F1 Champs...
Nigel Mansell with sons Greg & Leo who both race in the British F3 Championship. ![]() Freddie Hunt, son of 1976 F1 Champ James Hunt climbing out of his Formula Ford after retiring from the race. ![]() Barbecue time.. ![]() Where there's smoke.....there's an Ascari locking up approaching the complex. ![]() The Crowd knew 3 into 1 wouldn't go at the hairpin...sure enough the Aston & Ascari came together and spun off. ![]() And the GT podium ceremony. I can still taste the champagne and i can confirm it's cheap stuff ! ![]() Sebastian Hohentahl almost having a microphone shoved up his nose.. ![]() And finally..well i had to, didn't i ? ![]()

Nice those Geoff, looks like you were a busy lad on Sunday, saw the Hunt car on Saturday, and wondered if it was any relation, lets hope he's in the same mould as his old fella, F1 needs characters in it I think.

Nice selection here Geoff, and well done you for spending some time around the pits and paddock area. It is very easy to concentrate totally on the on track action and miss what's going on in the pits and paddock areas.
Cheers, Simon. |
