Default Hawks in the Hills

Two days in Wales brought a small selection of Hawks, 30 knt winds on Monday made photography a bit of a challenge but Tues was a far more pleasent day.

Mon.

Tues

You cannot beat a climb up a mountain to get the heart racing and adrenalin pumping waiting for that first jet to appear, even if it did take 5 hours before we saw anything on Monday.

Thanks for looking

Stu

Wow! I just can't get over the idea of sitting in the hills and having the aircraft go by like that!

Stu, those are great shots thanks for sharing even if we are envious.

Are you allowed to drive up those hills if you have a vehicle capable of doing so? I could have fun with my Jeep just getting there! In the UK I'd be looking for a Unimog for the trip.
