Default How did you get the word out?

I really want to start doing more sessions...i've been shooting for a while but now want to get more in the public eye. how did you get your name out there? how long did it take? what would you recommend as the best way to go about it? thanks!

Um, business cards. Word of mouth. I've always had an outlet. I worked in studio, people liked my work there there, hired me outside of it. I worked at Cypress Gardens and then the YMCA, took pics at both, people like, hired me outside of it.

I use Cypress now as my outlet where I hand out business cards with a picture of a Belle on it. Works well. And It's like the Disney princesses. So, I guess I'm lucky always having an outlet of some sort. Where do you do sessions? Word of mouth is a powerful thing.
