Looking for an inconspicuous backpack that can fit two camera bodies with lenses attached. One body would be holding a 70-200 2.8IS, the other a WA. Anyone have any recommendations?

Take a look at the Speed Racer by ThinkTank, the Brazillion Dollar Home.
The Brazillion Dollar Home isn't really a backpack but can accomodate two bodies. It can get quite large per reviews that I have read. The ThinkTank Speed Racer can accomodate two bodies w/grip w/lens attached but don't expect to fit more in the pack. You will probably need a Chimp Cage to accomodate any "other" gear. My current setup is a Speed Racer with Chimp Cage and Digital Holster 50. The good thing about the Digital Holster 50 is it's capability to carry lenses alone (100-400, 70-200 f/2.8 type and an additional lens or two). The good thing about this is it's capability to hold the second body more comfortably allowing one body in the racer, another body in the holster which attaches to the Racer. Different combinations can do this. Of course the Domke F-1x and the F-2 are also good choice. Both the Domke with backpack straps and Speed Racer with the shoulder harness allows backpack carrying capability.

The Dynatran in my signature should work for you. Can carry a laptop too, if you need that.

I grabbed this one on ebay - cheap i think i paid under $50 for it. I have reconfigured the setup and i keep two bodies 30D with 70-200 2.8L and a 300D with 28-70 attached. and have room for a few more lense and my flash with accessories.

Thanks guys
The Vertex 300 looks good. When B&H reopens from their holiday, I'll go check it out. Right now I'm using the Lowepro Rover Plus for a backpack, and the Domke original for a sidebag. I like using sidebags since getting the camera out can be faster; but it kills my back by the end of the day - and doesn't hold 2 bodies well. The Rover is comfortable, but doesn't support a body with a 70-200 2.8IS well - plus getting the camera out can get cumbersome when I'm in a crowd. I was considering the Lowepro Trekker Classic and the Micro Trekker Classic: ![]() ![]() Have to wait til B&H opens so I can see how things fit inside, but I like that they're very inconspicuous. Can't be too safe thanks again guys!

Be very careful with the Vertex 300.
I have the Vertex 200 specifically for the size constraints. I use it to travel abroad and it just makes it within size limits. The 300. NO WAY Jose!

just an idea....considering you want a bag that can hold 2 cameras with lenses attached, i'm assuming you want to be quick in shooting. Thought about getting a shoulder/shooting bag like a domke or crumpler?

I currently use the Domke original with the post-office shoulder strap as my everyday walkaround bag. It's an awesome bag but (a)doesn't hold 2 bodies well, (b)kills my shoulder whenever I carry the 70-200 2.8IS for more than an hour, and (c)the plastic buckle near the shoulder strap scraped the flash on my 30D(most likely my own stupidity though

Huh? What insert do you have? Mine takes 20D/70-200 2.8 IS and 5D/24-70 2.8 with a third (or fourth) lens no problem. 720-230 3-compartment insert. And get the Domke Post Office pad.
