Default Sigma 24-60mm F2.8 EX DG

There isn't an archive thread yet for this lens, so I figured I would start one.

I just got this lens last week. I haven't had a chance to shoot a ton with it, but I like this one. Straight out of the camera.

60mm f/2.8 iso800 1/250

I'm surprised it isn't in there. It's a good lens. Here's to others posting some of their pics too.

You all get to posting so I can compare with the 17-70! So far they look great. Kinda wish I would not have missed the 199.00 deal......

You might be, which is crazy. It's an awesome lens for the price. Hard to beat. I'd love to see more samples too!

Just seen this for 199 too, seems awesome for the price, when you consider the canon equiv is 700 or more... any more oppinions on this lens? Is it sharp?

Looks like a great optic for the price. It seems an odd focal length though

Perhaps on a 35mm camera. On a cropped digital it will diffract at or before f/16.
