When I scrolled down it gave me a good laugh...the way the bird is crouched down and those HUGE FEET. Very funny pose...a great shot, nice and clear, a cute little bird...steve

Glad I could bestow some entertainment

It seems they like to walk around hunched like that... I think it makes them look like they're cold. Until I saw photos on the forums I didn't know that some herons are neckless (so to speak).
