The first thing I got was an e-mail saying that they were considering my application, about a week later I was sent another e-mail saying I was accepted and that I would be sent a membership card in the post. In the acceptance e-mail I was also given my membership number.

Just googled it and it came up as Community Psychiatric Nurse

Which I think isn't what Dave and Pete were talking about

Canon Professional Network otherwise known as CPS (Canon Professional Service).

Provides discounts at some places, get invited to promo days for professionals only, faster turnaround on equipment repairs and services. There is far more than I've listed though.

Lets face it, if you don't know what it is, it's likely you don't need it.

Yes I did, but I have had difficulty accessing my account recently . Have you had an e-mail saying they are considering your application? if not it may be worth applying again.
