Default Old houses at Raffin

It was very stormy in the Scottish Highlands today. I went up to Stoer to see how bigs the waves were. At times they reached about 20ft but were dfficult to record with any scale. This shot is taken at raffin where the waves weren't so high but the sea looked rather brooding.

I really like this shot. Love the sun rays breaking through the clouds.

Its an awesome shot, but how SICK would it be if the light rays were directly on the houses?!

I love the feeling of ruggedness and robustness in the face of harsh conditions that it portrays. Very nice!

Awesome shot. Makes me want to have a cup of coffee, or better yet a shot of whisky.

Thanks guys!

Agreed Scott. I waited for a while for the light to hopefully appear loser to shore but no luck.

JLCarnagey - It would have to be a Talisker as Skye would be in the distance in this shot.

If I may 'nit' a bit....your horizon is off by a nat's nad, but still a fantastic shot!

Very good shot, I love the mood it portrays.

The houses look so insignificant next to the waves and the sea. The lighting is fantastic.
