Default Which LowePro case is best?

Wondering which LowePro bag is best fit for a G1+LensMate+collapsable rubber lenshood.

I live in Japan, where it's not so easy to try out all the bags, so any info would be great.

I have several LowePro cases and I suggest using the D-Res 40 AW to hold your camera with Lensmate, collapsable lens hood. It has room to spare with a partition if you choose to use a flash. The link is below:

Good luck.

Just found that a new bag, the D-Res 25AW, would suit your needs if you don't want storage for a flash. If your click on 'camera matrix' you'll see that it names the G1 as compatible and it should also accommodate your Lensmate since it's tall and thin.

Besides the D-Res 40 AW there is a newer version, the D-Res 220AW. It has a rear compartment, with divider. I just got one for my G1. It easily holds the camera w/ or w/o Lensmate, extra memory, filters, etc. There is not room for a flash or some auxilary lenses (the Canon 1.5X does not fit). However, I do not always take my tele lens with me, but need most everything else. I mainly wanted a bag that is compact and easy to use. Maybe someday as I keep adding equipment, I will get a larger bag.
