Default "The Shot" who saw the episode with the 90 Canon cameras firing at once?!

Tell me you wouldn't have had some total fun with that setup?!

For the people that didn't see the show, it was a setup of 90 cameras side by side. The purpose of the setup was to have a 3D image taken at a click of one simple button.

From VH1: The next day, the photographers were taken to a room with about a billion cameras and told they would be given two models, a trampoline and the ability to create 3-D photographs. “

You can only see a little bit of the setup here. It's a line of cameras strung together.

I thought they looked like 30d's with a 50, the LCD looked too big for a 20. awesome setup tho and those photographers were retards, they kept using the fan and the tramp for a hair ad and none of them did the classice hair toss, not to mention the hair looked like poo and none of them asked for it to be styled.

I always miss it on Sundays so I just watched this episode. I told a friend that this show is like Jerry Springer for Photographers. When life is getting you down, turn on Springer - those people have it worse than you.

The Shot makes me feel good about a Photographer - I like that I can mentally brainstorm through the information the photographers are given and then see if these 'experts' are thinking along the same lines. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't but I must say that usually I end up on a side that the judges are looking for.

I'm no fashion photographer by far, but some of this stuff is common sense. The Hair Stylist is the expert, I would be on him like a hawk. He was visibly upset at the results. I don't know hair, he does.

If I was on John's team I would have captured the hair, had the models give emotion to a bank of cameras together (preferably so the sweep comes from behind them and ends with both girls focusing on one camera bank for a buildup of emotion). And to be honest, cut the fans and kill the trampolines. Thats a safe shot, then go into something wilder.

THEN and only THEN cut the models loose, and spend a few minutes just goofing off with the camera setup.

Put my money on John to win it anyways, he's the only one that went to a higher elevation during the volley ball game after I screamed at the TV for about five minutes to get HIGHER! I was thinking more of a ladder at the net, but that'll work.

I'm going to have to start watching this show. That way I can start another "The Shot" thread. We need more of them here.
