Another Yosemite...

I visited there during the Thanksgiving Weekend...and have been doing so for a few years now.

1. at Morro Rock...a raven.

2. some backlit sequoias

3. the Yosemite Valley

4. signs of the cold...

5. and a little green for november..

6. the path to Mirror Lake (....or these days, Mirror Sands)

7. Glacier Point was open!!!

8. perhaps the last of the leaves

i think the funny thing about the raven is that it was a purely "WHOA BIRD SHOOT" shot ... it was shot @ 40mm on the 17-40L as it just flew by us at Morro Rock.

I really like the mountain shadow in the Glacier Point shot. The shadow lines point in the right direction for that picture. Also, the shot itself just looks awe inspiring.
