Killer.
I actually did this last night with a flashlight. All you need is low lighting, just set your ISO to 100 and slow the camera down to 30 or 15 seconds on a tri-pod or table top, click and start getting creative. Just don't stand in one spot for too long, or you'll appear like a ghost.

sorry to highjack, but heres an example of what I did with a not so dark setting.

believe me i was so amazed that they turned out like this. anyone else have some other cool ones like these

Great results. I dubbed this technique "Lightography". Its uber fun and I want to try a variation of this in the city since its easier due to longer evenings now.

since it was work hours it was hard to complety turn all the lights off...i actually taped the glowstick the the end of a long wrench so that i had a better writing device.

and image was not flipped....didnt touch it with any program...this is the exact way it came out of my 40D

Those are awesome Jordan! The writing came out really smooth, nice handwriting! Certainly got hand and eye coordination, I would have overlapped letters lol. Thanks for sharing.

What you should have a look at which I thought was awesome was Lichtfaktor's work. Vid of their stuff can be found on youtube, http://youtube.com/watch?v=tlWnpz0Di90

Really impressive use of photography.
